Woodhouse Cottage Dobs Hill

Woodhouse Cottage is ours, but it's separate. It's here at Dobs Hill. It's a detached place in the corner of our garden, so you've got your own space.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order. It's comfortable.

The garden you get is big. There's an orchard at the bottom. There's a patio with a table and chairs by the cottage. We leave the BBQ out there.

Inside, it's straightforward. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in if you need them. You can bring two dogs.

The local pub is about half a mile down the lane. It serves food. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away, so it's a drive.

You're right by the A55, so getting around is easy. Chester is about 20 minutes by car. The city walls and the cathedral are worth a look. Chester Zoo is a full day out.

Heading into Wales, Llangollen is about 30 minutes. It's good for a walk along the canal or a trip on the steam railway. The Clwydian Range is close by for walking. For a bigger beach day, the North Wales coast around Prestatyn or Rhyl is 20 to 30 minutes away.
