Clawdd Offa Barn is near the village of Penyffordd in Flintshire. It's a barn conversion on a bit of land, about six acres. You're on your own out here, it's quiet.
It sleeps up to nine people in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The barn has kept a lot of the original features, like brickwork and beams. There's a woodburner for colder nights. The kitchen has what you need. There's fibre broadband and a smart TV. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub.
You're right on the Wats Dyke footpath, so you can walk straight from the door. A local shop and pub is about half a mile away.
Chester is about ten miles east. It's good for shopping and the Roman walls. Within half an hour you've got places like Chester Zoo, the Blue Planet Aquarium, and Go Ape at Delamere Forest. The North Wales coast, for beaches like Prestatyn or Rhyl, is about forty minutes' drive.
You can get to Liverpool city centre in forty minutes. Snowdonia National Park is about an hour away if you want proper mountains. Anglesey is just over an hour.
There's a train station in the village if you don't want to drive. Trains go to Wrexham, Chester, and Liverpool.
For facilities, it has a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking on site.
