Zonnebloem is in Brymbo, near Wrexham. It's a semi-detached house. I've always liked the name, it means sunflower.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. They're all doubles. There are three bathrooms, so that's handy if you've got people who take a while in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There are two living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs one gets the best light and has the view. You can see right out over the fields to the Cheshire Plain.
The garden is yours to use. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a barbecue. It's a sun trap in the afternoon.
The stairs are traditional and a bit steep. We've got a stairgate if you need it.
There's a pub about a hundred yards up the road. They do food. A shop is about five minutes' walk. For a bigger shop, you'd drive into Wrexham.
For things to do, Erddig is a National Trust property about four miles away. It's a good day out. National Trust Erddig. Chirk Castle is also National Trust and is about eight miles. National Trust Chirk Castle.
Llangollen is about a twenty minute drive. You can walk along the canal there, or go over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct if you're brave. The Llangollen Railway runs steam trains.
Chester is just over the border and takes about half an hour by car. You can walk the walls.
In the house you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
Sorry, no pets.
