Tyn Y Celyn

Tyn Y Celyn is in Eryrys, just outside Llanferres. It's a detached stone cottage in its own garden. The view from the front is over fields towards Moel Famau.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Two of the beds can be either twins or doubles, you just need to let us know your preference before you arrive.

There are two living rooms. One has a wood burner, the other has the TV. The dining room has a bookcase with a random mix of books left by guests, so have a rummage. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steeper and narrower than in a modern house.

The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs. We allow up to two pets. There's a hot tub on the patio. There's also a barbecue and some outdoor furniture. Parking is on the drive right outside.

You've got a washing machine, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has the basics: oven, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster.

For walks, you're right on the edge of the Clwydian Range. Loggerheads Country Park is about a ten minute drive. The Offa's Dyke Path is close by too. The summit of Moel Famau is a decent hike from the car park further up the road.

Mold is about four miles away for supermarkets and shops. Ruthin, with its castle, is about a twenty minute drive. Chester is roughly half an hour if you want a day out in the city. The North Wales coast, like Prestatyn, is within thirty minutes.
