The Gate House is in Llanarmon yn Ial in North Wales. It's an old gate house, from the 1500s I think. You get the whole garden to yourselves, it's a decent size.
It sleeps up to six, but there are only two bedrooms. One has a super king bed and space for two singles if you need them, the other has a double. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are quite steep, it's an old building.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a TV and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed so that's handy. There's a summer house out there too, and a BBQ.
The village centre is about a mile away. There's a local pub you can walk to. The area is good for walking and fishing. For a proper day out, Chester is about half an hour's drive. The Clwydian Range is right on the doorstep for walking. Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB has maps and routes. The National Trust and English Heritage have places nearby too.
If you're coming at Christmas, we put a tree up.
