The Piggery is a small cabin on our farm in Nannerch. It's for two people only, one bedroom, one shower room.
It's detached. You'll have your own enclosed garden and patio. There's a firepit and a built-in outdoor kitchen, which has a pizza oven and a gas hob. You cook and eat out there when the weather's alright. Inside is quite compact. It's mostly a bed-sitting room with a kitchenette. The shower room is indoors.
There's a private tennis court on the farm that you're welcome to use. It's nothing grand, but it's in decent condition.
You're in the Clwydian Range here. It's good walking country. Moel Famau is the obvious big hill, but there are plenty of other paths. It's all an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the views are good. The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley site has maps.
Mold is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. There are shops and supermarkets there. The Feathers is the local pub in Nannerch village, a five minute walk away.
You can get to the coast in about half an hour. Prestatyn and Rhyl are that way. For castles, Flint is closest. Denbigh and Rhuddlan are also nearby, and of course there's Chirk Castle a bit further south.
Facilities: parking is right by the cabin. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there, but it's a farm so it's okay but not super fast. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
