Glenbeagles Lodge

Glenbeagles Lodge is a wee single-storey house in Dollar. It's detached, so you get the place and the garden to yourselves. You're about ten minutes' walk from the edge of town, up a quiet lane. The main view is over fields towards the Ochil Hills.

It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. The main room is open plan with the kitchen and living area together. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.

The decking outside is a good spot, especially if the sun's out. It's enclosed, so the dog can't wander.

In Dollar itself there's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a golf course. Dollar Glen is a nice walk, owned by the National Trust for Scotland. It's got paths and waterfalls.

Stirling is about twenty minutes by car. You've got the castle and the Wallace Monument there. For a bigger day out, you can get to a lot of places within 45 minutes. That covers most of St Andrews, Perth, and the southern edge of the Highlands. Loch Leven is about half an hour away if you like fishing.

Parking is right outside the lodge.
