Ynywsen Dairy Flat

Ynywsen Dairy Flat is near Felingwmuchaf, up above the Cothi Valley. It's a first-floor studio flat converted from the old dairy building, attached to our main house. The house is old, parts of it are from the 1700s.

It sleeps two. One room that works as bedroom and living space, and a separate kitchen-diner. The kitchen used to be the main farmhouse kitchen so it's a good size. You've got a private patio outside with garden furniture.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There are oak beams and stone walls, and the floor is flagstone, so it can feel cool underfoot. The shower room has a walk-in shower.

The location is very rural. It's quiet. There's a stream at the bottom of the garden. You can walk or cycle from the door, and Brechfa Forest for mountain biking is about fifteen minutes away by car.

For shops and a meal, you'd drive to the local pub and restaurant, which is about two and a half miles. The towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo are each around twenty minutes. The coast at Cefn Sidan beach and Pembrey Country Park is about half an hour's drive.

A few other things within a thirty minute drive include the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, and Carreg Cennen castle.

Facilities: there's WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and off-road parking. Bedding and towels are included. A cot is available. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Our own dogs live here on site.
