Brook Cottage is in Bilbrook, Somerset. It's a detached cottage we built in our garden last year. So it's new, and it's separate from the main house.
It's got two bedrooms upstairs - one with a super kingsize that can be split into twins, the other is a kingsize - and one shower room. Sleeps four comfortably.
Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining table, living area. There's a utility bit next to it with a washer and dryer. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well equipped and modern. You get your own parking spot and there's an electric car charger if you need it.
Outside the back is a big, enclosed patio garden. It's secure for dogs. There's a hot tub out there.
The cottage is on the edge of Exmoor, so you're about two miles from the National Park. Great for walking and seeing the ponies. Exmoor National Park has all their routes online.
You're about ten minutes' drive from the coast at Blue Anchor. There's a cafe on the beach and it's dog friendly all year. Watchet is a small harbour town with shops and pubs. Minehead is a bit bigger, with more restaurants and a beach. The West Somerset Railway steam trains run from there.
In the other direction, Taunton is about half an hour by car if you need bigger shops or want to see a cricket match.
Facilities: WiFi, Smart TV, dishwasher, washer and dryer, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed.
