Birch Cottage

Birch Cottage is in Watchet. It's a semi-detached cottage in a small, modern mews, so it's newish and straightforward. You park right outside.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The layout is open plan downstairs.

The property is right in the middle of town. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about 50 yards away. Everything is very close.

You're a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour and marina. The West Somerset Railway station is there too, so you can see the steam trains. The South West Coast Path runs through the town if you want a walk.

Dunster Castle is about a 15-minute drive. It's a National Trust property. The sandy beach at Blue Anchor is just over 10 minutes away by car.

Exmoor is about a 20-minute drive inland. It's good for walking. The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are about half an hour's drive along the coast.

Facilities: there's an enclosed patio garden, a washing machine, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
