The Meadows is a lodge on Wemyss Bay Holiday Park. It’s detached, so no one attached to you.
It sleeps six. That’s across three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. You’re allowed to bring one dog with you. It has a 3 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and clean. It’s not luxury.
The layout is open plan. There's a TV and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided, so you don't need to bring that.
You’re a short walk from the train station. That’s also the ferry terminal for Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. There’s a cafe and a pub in the station building. The beach is about a mile away.
Largs is a short drive. It’s a seaside town with a pier, shops, and places to eat. You can catch a ferry from there to Great Cumbrae, the island with Millport on it.
From Wemyss Bay station, you can get the train into Glasgow. Edinburgh is also accessible for a day trip. If you want to drive, you can get to the ferry for the Isle of Arran, or head towards Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula. That puts you close to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
