The Sheiling Skye is on our croft, near Totaig. It's a wooden lodge. It's for two people. There's one bedroom with a kingsize bed, and one shower room.
It's in a quiet spot, set back from the road. You look out over Loch Dunvegan. The view is good. You can see the castle, Coral Beach, and the Cuillin hills from the windows.
There's a path through a bit of woodland down to a small, private beach. It's pebbly. You might see seals there. From the croft, we often see sea eagles and sometimes dolphins out on the loch. The night sky is very dark here, so you can see the stars clearly. Sometimes you see the Northern Lights.
The lodge has a wood burner. There's an open plan living area with a kitchen. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi works. We leave some local soap for you.
For walking, Neist Point lighthouse is close. So are Macleod's Tables. The Three Chimneys restaurant is about five minutes drive away. Dunvegan Castle is about twenty minutes.
You're on a working croft, so there will be sheep around. Please shut gates. The track down to the lodge is fine for normal cars.
