Cuillin View
Cuillin View is in Totaig, which is near Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached cottage, so you're on your own up here. The views are the main thing. You look right out over Husabost Bay and Loch Dunvegan. You can see the coral beach, Dunvegan Castle, and the Cuillin mountains from the windows.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. One bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. It's all on the ground floor. The layout is open plan.
The cottage has a wood burning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You get an enclosed garden and patio with a barbecue. There's parking right outside. We accept one dog.
You can walk straight from the house. We often see seals and birds of prey like eagles. The local beach has coral sands, which is unusual. Dunvegan Castle is close by for a visit. Boat trips run from the area too.
For places to eat, The Three Chimneys restaurant is well known and about a 15 minute drive. The nearest shop is in Dunvegan, three miles away.
