Cuillin View

This is Cuillin View. It's a detached cottage in Totaig. It looks out over Husabost Bay and Loch Dunvegan. The view is the main thing. You can see the coral beach, Dunvegan Castle across the water, and the Cuillin mountains. It's a proper lookout spot.

It's a small place, sleeps two. One bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It feels solid and simple. The stairs are quite narrow. There’s an open plan living area downstairs with a wood burning stove, which is handy. You get your own enclosed garden and somewhere to park.

It's quiet here. You can walk straight from the door along the headland. You'll see sea eagles and seals quite often. For supplies, the nearest shop is about three miles away in Dunvegan.

Dunvegan Castle is right there, you can see it from the windows. Local boat trips go from the pier. If you want a special meal, The Three Chimneys restaurant is about a 25 minute drive away. You're well placed for getting to Neist Point lighthouse or heading down to the Cuillin.

It says one well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a BBQ.

For planning visits, the National Trust for Scotland site is useful, and so is Isle of Skye for general information.
