Cobbler's Cottage

Cobbler's Cottage is in Glen Dale on Skye. It's a detached single-storey building, converted from an old byre. It's in our garden, but you have your own bit and it's private. The views are out over the valley towards Macleod's Table. It's very quiet.

It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on the ground floor.

Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen is a good size, with a slow cooker and a wok if you need them. The fridge has a small freezer box. The shower is decent. The bedroom looks out over the valley.

You're welcome to walk around our gardens. There's about two acres here. The chickens might follow you. Beyond that, there's another six acres down to the Hamara River. You can fish for sea trout there, but you'd need your own permit.

There's a small shop and a coffee shop about a mile away in Glendale. The nearest pub is about eight miles, in Dunvegan. There's a restaurant roughly three miles down the road.

For things to do, Neist Point lighthouse is very close for sunset views. Dunvegan Castle is about a fifteen minute drive. Coral Beach is about half an hour away. If you want to go further, the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr on the Trotternish peninsula are within a 30 to 40 minute drive. There are walks everywhere.

Facilities: It's all electric, bedding and towels are included, there's TV and WiFi, and parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. No pets, I'm afraid.
