Cobbler's Cottage is in Glen Dale on Skye. It's detached and sits in a couple of acres of our garden. The views from the front are across the valley towards Macleod's Tables. It's very quiet.
It's a byre conversion, so it was a stone outbuilding. It sleeps two. One bedroom and one shower room. It's all on the ground floor. The main room is open plan: living space, kitchen, dining area. The kitchen is a good size. There's a fridge with a small freezer section, a slow cooker, and a large wok.
You're welcome to walk around the garden. The chickens might follow you. You can also walk down through the grounds to the river to fish.
The nearest beach is about a mile away. There's a shop and a coffee shop in Glendale, about a mile. The nearest pub is in Dunvegan, eight miles. There's a restaurant about three miles away.
For things to do, Neist Point Lighthouse is close for sunsets. Dunvegan Castle is a short drive. Coral Beach is about twelve miles. You're well placed for the walking on Skye, including the Cuillin hills. The National Trust for Scotland has information about sites further afield.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking is here, bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
