Waterfall Cottage

This is Waterfall Cottage in Glen Dale. It’s a detached house, stuck on the side of a hill. You get up to it via a rough track, so you’ll want to take it steady in the car. The view from the garden looks out over Glen Dale and towards the sea. The sunsets can be good.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating. It’s clean and traditional, not a fancy place. There’s an open fire, which you can use. Firewood is provided. The garden is enclosed.

The track down to it is shared, so you might see the neighbours coming and going. The local shop and a restaurant are about a quarter of a mile walk away, down in the village. The nearest pub is eight miles off, so it’s a drive.

If you’re here for walking, you’re in the right spot. You can get straight onto the hills from the door. For a proper coastal view, Neist Point is about 15 minutes by car. Dunvegan Castle is roughly half an hour’s drive. The Three Chimneys restaurant is nearby, you’d need to book well ahead for that.

Inside, there’s a washing machine, TV, and parking for one car outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
