This is Lambley Farm, Orchard House. It's up in Northumberland, just south of Hexham. The place itself is on 90 acres, so it's quiet. The South Tyne river is about fifty yards from the cottage. You can see it from the windows. Fishing is possible, but you have to book and pay for that separately.
The house sleeps twelve, in five bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, which is handy for a group that size. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable.
You can book this one on its own, or also with Kingfisher Cottage next door if you've got more people. Together they take twenty.
It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a garden with a BBQ. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
For things to do, you're well placed. The National Trust at Hadrian's Wall is close by. Kielder Water and Forest is about a half hour drive, if you want the reservoirs and walks. Hexham is your main town for shops, it's maybe fifteen minutes.
