Well equipped kitchen, again with sea views and each bedroom has been thoughtfully presented to provide a good nights sleep. The enclosed garden is perfect for your children to let off steam and there is a large games room, where you can enjoy table tennis, snooker and darts. There are also many toys, games and beachcombing finds!
The cottage is set on the edge of the quaint coastal hamlet of Llanrhian in a quiet lane, and is well placed for walking the Coastal Path which follows some of its most spectacular scenery on this stretch of the coast. Our local beach, Aberfelin, an interesting rocky cove, can be reached along a pleasant leafy footpath, leading from the lane. Nearby is the stunning harbour hamlet of Porthgain, a small, picturesque harbour with a lovely bistro/bar serving local caught fish, as well as a character pub serving excellent bar food and two art galleries showing work of local artists. Neighbouring Abereiddy has a sand and pebble beach where dogs are welcome all year round, and the remarkable Blue Lagoon made famous for cliff diving.
The historic city of St Davids is within easy reach and is renowned for it’s magnificent 12th century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishops Palace. You will also find a variety of gift shops here, and in neighbouring Solva, many featuring local artists, and several pubs and restaurants serving excellent food. The beaches of Whitesands, and Newgale are well worth a visit, where there are hidden rock pools, golden sands and water sports activities. The ancient town of Newport is close by, featuring two beautiful beaches with a selection of gift shops, traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes beneath the shadows of mount Carningli, a famous hilltop, rich with myths and legends.
