Hot Tub Retreat

This is the Hot Tub Retreat in Oakhanger, Hampshire. It's on a wine estate with about 80 acres of land, mostly vines and some woodland. There's a fishing lake too. It's for two people.

It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. You've got one bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and an open plan kitchen and living area. There's a wood burner for heat. The main thing is the deck outside with a wood-fired hot tub. You look out over fields. It's quiet.

There are animals on the estate: peacocks, some rare breed chickens, and sheep. They wander about.

The location is rural but not remote. You're on a quiet lane. There's a pub within walking distance, about ten minutes. The market town of Alton is a five minute drive. They have supermarkets and shops. Jane Austen's house in Chawton is about ten minutes away by car.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the Hampshire Hangers. The paths from the door are good. Selborne is close, where you can walk up the Zig Zag path. Gilbert White's house and garden there is worth a visit if you like that sort of thing. Alice Holt Forest is about a fifteen minute drive, good for bikes and families. The Watercress Line steam railway runs from Alton.

Facilities: everything's included - bedding, towels, wifi, electricity. There's parking right by the cabin and an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
