Oak Lodge
Oak Lodge is one of five lodges on the farm, out near Blacknest. The farm itself is about a hundred acres, on the edge of the South Downs. You're in the countryside here.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on ground floor level, which is good if stairs are a problem. You have your own bit of garden at the front with a terrace and a barbecue.
Inside, it's spacious. The living area is a good size. The bedrooms are comfortable. The kitchen has what you need.
The farm is near the South Downs National Park, so walking and cycling routes start pretty much from the gate. The Alice Holt Forest is close by, maybe ten minutes in the car. It's good for walks, with trails and some sculptures to find.
The nearest pub is about a mile away. Alton is the local market town, it's a short drive. It has a weekly market, some shops, and places to eat. A proper supermarket is nearly two miles away.
Things you might need to know: we can take up to two dogs. There's parking right by the lodge. All the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you're bringing a little one. There's WiFi and a TV.
