Willow Cottage
Willow Cottage is one of the lodges at Broadview Farm in Blacknest. The farm is about 100 acres. It's quiet here.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, which is good if stairs are a problem. You've got your own enclosed garden at the back with a patio.
It's a working farm, so you'll see horses and the general farm activity. The location is good. There's a pub about a mile away, and a restaurant is half a mile. The nearest shop is nearly two miles, so you'll want to bring your food with you.
You're right on the edge of the South Downs National Park. The walking is excellent straight from the door. Alice Holt Forest is close by, that's good for family walks and cycling. The market town of Alton is a short drive.
For a day out, Jane Austen's House in Chawton is about a twenty minute drive. If you like gardens, the RHS Garden Wisley is within half an hour.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
