Yew Tree Cottage Passfield

Yew Tree Cottage is in Passfield, Hampshire. It's detached and down at the end of a quiet lane. The lane's unmade, so it's a bit gravelly. You're opposite miles of National Trust heath and woodland, which is great for walks straight from the door.

The cottage sleeps three, in three single bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury. There are a couple of low beams. It's an old cottage.

You can have two well-behaved dogs. The garden is enclosed but it's not huge. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings.

The local shop is about 400 yards away. The pub is about the same distance. Both are good. For a bigger shop, Liss village is a short drive.

For days out, you're well placed. The National Trust heathland right opposite is the main draw. Midhurst and the South Downs are about 20 minutes south. Winchester is about a 40 minute drive. Guildford and the Surrey Hills are about half an hour north. Portsmouth and Chichester Harbour are within 45 minutes.

The facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, a TV, parking for two cars, and bedding and towels are included. Wood for the stove isn't provided, but you can get it locally.
