Goldridge is in Newton Valence. It's a one bedroom place for two people, converted from part of an old granary building in a stable yard.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but it's not luxurious. You've got a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom upstairs. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner.
There's an interconnecting door inside that links to the larger cottage next door, Maplescombe. It's kept locked unless both places are booked together by the same group.
Outside, there's a seating area in a shared courtyard. It's enclosed. The on-site riding school is there if you fancy booking a trek.
The location is very rural. You're surrounded by fields and woods. It's quiet. Good for walking. You can drive to places like the South Downs or the Hangers Way quite easily.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, TV, parking, and all the bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're planning days out, Alton is about ten minutes away. Petersfield is maybe fifteen minutes. Winchester is about half an hour's drive. The South Downs National Park website is useful for walks.
