The Barn Monkwood

The Barn is in Monkwood, a small hamlet just outside Alresford. It's a converted barn, detached, so it's on its own. You've got the garden to yourselves. It looks out over fields.

The property sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's modern and well-finished. Everything inside is oak floors and beams. It's warm.

You're surrounded by footpaths and lanes here. It's quiet. It's good if you want to walk or cycle straight from the door.

Alresford is about six miles away. It's a Georgian town, nice to walk around. There are cafés, pubs, and some shops. You'll get most things you need there.

For days out, the Watercress Steam Railway is close by. The New Forest is about half an hour's drive. Winchester is roughly 25 minutes. The coast, like Southampton or Bournemouth, is maybe 45 minutes to an hour.

Facilities wise: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. There's parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.

There's a pub and restaurant about two miles away. A shop is three miles.
