Henwood Drayton

This is Henwood. It's on Drayton Farm, near East Meon. The farm is ours, we live in the main farmhouse.

It's an upside down house. You go in on the ground floor and that's where the bedrooms are. Then you go upstairs to the living area and kitchen. We did that so you get the view from up there. It looks out over the fields.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's got everything you'd need and it's kept to a good standard.

You share a big lawned garden with the other barn conversion here. From the garden you can just walk straight out onto the farm paths. You can walk for miles without seeing a road.

East Meon village is about a mile and a half away. It's got a shop, a church, and a couple of good pubs that do food. West Meon is close by too.

You're in the Meon Valley, so it's good walking country. If you want to go further, the South Downs are about twenty minutes by car. Winchester and the New Forest are about half an hour. Portsmouth and Chichester are a similar drive if you fancy the coast or the historic dockyard. Petersfield station is close if you wanted to get a train to London.

For facilities: you've got parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and a patio area. No pets, I'm afraid.
