Stable Cottage is on our farm in Drayton. It's one of three barn conversions here, but they're all separate. You get your own patio area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and everything works. The living space is upstairs. That's deliberate, so you can see the fields from the windows.
East Meon village is just over a mile away. It's got a shop, a post office, and a couple of good pubs that do food. The one with the thatched roof is nice. Any other groceries, you'd want to drive to Petersfield.
The farm track leads straight out onto footpaths. You can walk for miles without seeing a road. South Downs National Park is about a 20-minute drive. The New Forest is about half an hour.
If you want a day out, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is about 35 minutes away. Winchester is 40 minutes in the other direction. The coast, say the Witterings or Hayling Island, is about 45 minutes.
Included in the cottage: all the bedding and towels, the washing machine and dishwasher work fine, there's wifi and a TV, and you can park right outside. There's a barbecue on the patio. No pets, sorry.
If you're looking for walking routes or things to do, the Visit Hampshire site is quite useful.
