Drovers Cottage is in East Meon, over in the Meon Valley. It's a little brick and flint cottage, just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up well and everything's there.
The place has been renovated, so it's comfortable. It's open plan downstairs. There's a patio and garden area out the front. You can park right by the cottage.
The village is about a quarter of a mile walk. It's a proper old English village, lots of thatched roofs. There's a shop and two pubs that do food. The church is nice.
If you like walking, you're right on the edge of the South Downs National Park. The fields around the cottage are old. People sometimes find Roman oyster shells in them. There's a small lake nearby you can fish in sometimes.
You're about half an hour's drive from a lot of places. Winchester is that way, with the cathedral. Portsmouth and Southampton are south. The New Forest is to the west. If you want a beach, the Witterings or Hayling Island are about 45 minutes. Petersfield station is close, and you can get a train to London in about an hour.
Inside, it's got a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and the usual things. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
