Louisa's Cottage

Louisa's Cottage is on our farm in Oakshott, Hampshire. It's one of a pair of cottages, Edward's and this one. The views from the garden are over the valley. It's quiet.

It sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. There's also a small upstairs room we call the hideaway. It's good for a child or for storing luggage. The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

The farm is working, so you'll see farm vehicles and hear animals sometimes. We've put in a shared bike shed if you bring bicycles. If you ride, by prior arrangement you can stable a horse at the Loddon stables nearby.

The location is good for walking and cycling straight from the door. There's a green lane that leads into miles of paths in the South Downs National Park. There are three pubs within about half an hour's walk, or a very short drive.

Petersfield is the nearest town, about ten minutes away by car. It's got supermarkets, shops and places to eat. For a bigger day out, Portsmouth, Winchester, Chichester and Guildford are all roughly 45 minutes' drive. The coast at West Wittering or Hayling Island is about half an hour to an hour away.

The facilities are what you'd expect: parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.
