Easterley
This is Easterley. It's one of three cottages here in Poolpardon. The place is on a quiet lane, not far from the Wye Valley. You get a decent view of fields from the front.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms but one is small with bunk beds, so it's really best for two adults and two kids. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, but it's a cottage, not a hotel.
You're about twenty minutes drive from Hay-on-Wye. That's the book town. The festival in May is busy, but the rest of the year it's just a nice place to wander. Hereford is a bit further, maybe half an hour. Good for a big shop or if you want a cinema.
The Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park are right on the doorstep for walking. You can drive to trailheads in ten minutes. The National Trust has a few properties around here too, if you like that sort of thing.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog. We've got a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
If you book with friends or family, you can rent the cottage next door as well.
