Colby Hall Cottage is a cottage next to our house, here in Colby. It's quiet and looks out over the garden. We're out in the countryside, about a mile and a half from Appleby-in-Westmorland.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. We did a lot of work on it a few years ago, so it's warm and everything works, but it's still a cottage. The kitchen is decent. You can bring up to two dogs.
It's just for adults, no children. It's very peaceful here.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Lake District is about a twenty minute drive one way, and the Yorkshire Dales are about twenty minutes the other way. Hadrian's Wall isn't far either. There's plenty of walking and cycling right from the door. The town has a shop, a couple of pubs, and places to eat.
As for what's here: there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside, and a garden area you can use.
If you're planning walks or visits, these sites are useful: Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park.
