This is Mirfield. It's a three bedroom semi-detached cottage in Kirkby Thore. That's in the Eden Valley, north of the Lake District. You can bring one dog.

Kirkby Thore is a small village. You're about twenty minutes' drive from Penrith for a big supermarket. The Northern Lakes are maybe half an hour away. Ullswater is the closest.
If you want to walk from the door, the local fells are right there. For a famous walk, High Cup Nick starts from Dufton, about fifteen minutes away. There's a good pub in Dufton for afterwards.
Other things nearby: you've got Long Meg stone circle. Lacy's Caves are along a nice river walk. Langwathby has a station on the Settle to Carlisle line if you fancy the train ride.
