Cherry Barn is a converted sandstone barn on the edge of Dufton. It's detached, so no neighbours to worry about from the property.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. The shower is in there. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and things work.
The living area looks out towards Dufton Pike. The view is good. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You're right on the Pennine Way. Walking starts from the door. The walk up to High Cup Nick is worth it. The scenery is dramatic.
The village has a pub on the green, about 200 yards away. They do food. There's also a tea room the same distance.
Appleby-in-Westmorland is three miles. It's a nice old town on the river. You can get the train from there on the Carlisle to Settle line.
The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are both about a 30 minute drive. They're different, but both good. Hadrian's Wall is also within an hour.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's storage if you bring bikes. We allow up to three dogs.
