Rundales Cottage is in Brampton. It's a converted barn attached to my place, but you've got your own entrance and it's private.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Appleby-in-Westmorland is about a mile away for shops and a bite to eat. There's a pub half a mile down the lane.
For days out, you can be in the Lake District in under half an hour. The Yorkshire Dales are about the same drive. Hadrian's Wall is maybe 40 minutes. The Scottish border isn't much further.
It's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
Useful links if you're planning: Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park.
