High Moor Cottage
High Moor Cottage is in Brampton, in the Eden Valley. It's detached and faces onto woodland.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a four star cottage, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one floor, so no stairs. It's next to our house, but you have your own place.
The main thing is it's quiet. You're down a long stone track, so there's no traffic. You'll see birds on the feeder from the living room. There's a wood burner for colder nights, and a deck out the front.
You're about five minutes drive from Appleby, which is a nice old market town. The Lake District is about half an hour away by car. You're also not far from the Pennines, the Scottish Borders, or the North Yorkshire Dales if you want to drive out for the day.
There's a pub a mile away. A shop and a restaurant are about a mile and a half.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
