High Moor Cottage is in Brampton. The proper address is in the paperwork, but essentially you're in the Eden Valley, between the Pennines and the Lakes. It's detached and set back from the lane on a stone track.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kitted out.
The place is fairly straightforward inside. There's a main living room and a smaller second sitting room too, so people can spread out. There's a wood burner. The decking outside looks onto some woodland. You get all sorts of birds coming through.
Appleby-in-Westmorland is about five minutes away by car. You've got all the basics there. The nearest pub is about a mile, a shop and restaurant are a bit further.
It's a good spot for getting out. The Lake District National Park is about half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines AONB are also within easy reach. If the weather's bad, there are climbing walls in Penrith and Kendal.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
