Fiddledrill Barn
Fiddledrill Barn is in Benniworth, right out in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's a detached barn conversion next to our farmhouse. The views are good, just fields.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything works. The Wi-Fi is decent.
The garden is enclosed and quite big. There's a patio and then a lawn. It's private.
You're on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk straight from the door on the footpaths. There's local horse riding if you arrange it.
For towns, Horncastle and Louth are about ten miles. Market Rasen racecourse is the same. Lincoln is fifteen miles. It's a good day out, the cathedral is up on the hill. The Hemswell Antique Centres are about fifteen miles too, if that's your thing.
The east coast beaches, like Skegness or Mablethorpe, are a good half hour drive, maybe a bit more depending on traffic. For National Trust, Gunby Hall is about twenty-eight miles.
Facilities: there's parking right there, a washing machine, a cot and highchair, and a stairgate. You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding is included.
The nearest shop is in Wragby, about two and a half miles. The nearest pub is in Goulceby, two and a half miles as well. They do food.
