Tack Room is a converted barn in Market Stainton, out in the Lincolnshire countryside. It's one of a pair, semi-detached with a place called Boot Room. The view from the back is over a field, down to a small lake and some woods. It's quiet.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both are doubles with king-size beds, and both have their own ensuite shower room. That works well for two couples, or a small family. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well finished and everything is in good order.
Downstairs is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area, and living space. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The floors are tiled, so it's practical. Outside is a private, enclosed garden with a patio and a bit of lawn, looking back towards the lake.
The property is set in the owner's grounds, so there's a lot of wildlife about. A footpath leads from the garden onto a bridle path. You can walk into Donington-on-Bain village in about twenty minutes. They've got a tearoom, a shop, and a pub there.
For a day out, Lincoln is roughly half an hour's drive. The cathedral and castle are the main things to see. The Lincolnshire Wolds are right here for walking or cycling. There's a lockable bike store if you bring them. If you want the coast, Skegness or Mablethorpe are about forty minutes east.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and parking. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
