This is Boot Room. It's a converted barn in Market Stainton, Lincolnshire. It's one of a pair of cottages, next to Tack Room. They both look out over a lake and the woods behind.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with a kingsize bed and their own shower room. That's handy if two couples are sharing. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good order.
Downstairs is open plan, with tiled floors. There's a wood burner for cold evenings. Outside, you've got your own patio and a bit of enclosed lawn facing the lake.
The grounds have a footpath that leads to a bridle path. You can walk into Donington-on-Bain village in about 20 minutes. They've got a tea room, a shop, and a pub there.
If you're driving, Lincoln is about half an hour away. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. The coast at Skegness or Mablethorpe is about 40 minutes east. The market towns of Horncastle and Louth are closer.
There's a lockable bike store here if you're cycling. For walkers, the Lincolnshire Wolds are right on the doorstep. You can get to a golf course and find horse riding locally too.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to two dogs.
You can book Boot Room with Tack Room next door if you need space for more people.
