The Groom's Quarters
The Groom's Quarters is in East Barkwith, Lincolnshire. It's a barn conversion on the edge of a working farm. You're basically in the fields. It's detached and quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. The main living area is open plan, with big windows looking out over the land. There's a patio with chairs outside, same view.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's new and in good order. The kitchen has a dishwasher, there's a washing machine, and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance and main living area are on one level and accessible.
The village shop and pub are about a mile and a half away. The pub does food. For a proper day out, Lincoln is 25 minutes by car. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. The coast – Skegness, Mablethorpe – is about 35 minutes away if you want a beach.
If you like walking or cycling, you can start from the door. The Lincolnshire Wolds are right here. For nature, Gibraltar Point is a good reserve. The seal colony at Donna Nook is a drive away, but check the season.
