Eastlands Barn

Eastlands Barn is in East Barkwith, out in the fields. It's a converted barn on a working farm. We live in the house next door.

It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. All the bedrooms have an en-suite and a TV. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's well-finished and everything works.

Downstairs is mostly one big open-plan room with a kitchen, dining area and sofas. There's a wood burner. Off that is another room with a pool table. The doors lead out to a patio with a big hot tub. There's a shower and changing room out there for after you use it.

The garden is enclosed. You've got about forty acres of our land to walk around, with a proper fly fishing lake. You can bring two dogs. If you've got a horse, we have stables you can use by arrangement.

The village is about three quarters of a mile away. There's a shop and post office, and a pub that does good food.

For days out, you're in the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Horncastle is known for antiques. Louth is a Georgian market town. Market Rasen has the racecourse. The coast at Mablethorpe and Skegness is about half an hour's drive. Lincoln is roughly fifteen miles west, for the cathedral and the rest of it.

Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate, and bedding and towels are included. The WiFi is fine. Parking is right outside.
