The Bridles

The Bridles is a barn conversion on our working farm in North Willingham. It's part of a small group of barns, but yours is private. It's just for two people, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the view. It looks out over the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's very quiet. You can sit outside on your own patio.

Inside, it's a barn conversion so you get some of the original brickwork and beams. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. It's got underfloor heating too, so it's always cosy. The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep, just so you know. There's a TV and WiFi. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.

You can walk straight out from the door onto footpaths. We have a lake on the farm if you want to do some coarse fishing. There's also bicycle storage if you bring bikes.

You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.

The nearest shop and pub is about four miles away in Market Rasen. Market Rasen has a racecourse if that's of interest. The Georgian town of Louth is nice for a wander, and Horncastle is known for antiques. The coast at Mablethorpe or Skegness is about a 30-minute drive. Lincoln, with the cathedral, is just under an hour.

For planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Lincolnshire Wolds and National Trust Lincolnshire.
