Homestead Cottage is a barn we converted, at the edge of Benniworth village. It's detached, so no one's right next to you. We live in the main house up the drive, but the cottage and garden are all yours.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs. It's rated 4 Star, which means it's nicer than basic but it's still a cottage, not a hotel. We think it's comfortable.
The main room is open plan, kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. There's underfloor heating. The doors go out to a private patio with a table and a barbecue. The garden beyond that is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs. You can bring up to two.
Benniworth is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away, in the next village. You'll need a car.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door onto the Wolds. It's good walking country. For a day out, Lincoln is about 40 minutes by car. The cathedral is the main thing. Horncastle, which is known for antiques, is closer, maybe 20 minutes. The coast is east, about 25 miles to Mablethorpe or Skegness.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot or highchair if you need one. Parking is right outside.
