Lily Pad Lodge

Lily Pad Lodge is a barn conversion here in Market Stainton. It's semi-detached, and we live next door. You look out over our garden towards a small lake and woods at the back. It's quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with a king size bed and their own shower room. There's also a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard. The layout is all open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner.

Outside, you've got your own patio and an enclosed lawn. It's private. There's also a hot tub.

You can walk straight from the property onto a bridle path. It leads to Donington-on-Bain, which is about a mile. They've got a village shop, a post office, a tearoom, and a pub. Our local shop and pub are a couple of miles away in the other direction.

For days out, Lincoln is roughly half an hour by car. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. If you fancy the coast, Skegness and Mablethorpe are about 45 minutes east. Horncastle and Louth are market towns nearby.

The place is set up for bikes, with a lockable store. There's parking. Pets are welcome, up to two. All bedding and towels are included. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi.
