Apartment 1
Apartment 1 is on our farm in East Barkwith. It’s a one-bedroom flat, sleeps two. It’s got a 3 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and clean, but it’s not luxurious. You get the things you need.
The view from the front is over our fields. It’s quiet out here. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. There’s a fishing lake on the farm if you’ve brought your gear.
The village shop and a pub are about half a mile down the road. Both are decent. The pub does food.
You’re about half an hour’s drive from Lincoln. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. The Lincoln Cathedral website has visiting information. We’re in the Lincolnshire Wolds too, so Louth and Horncastle aren’t far if you like market towns or antiques. Market Rasen has the racecourse.
If you have a horse, we can sometimes arrange stabling and grazing. You’d need to ask us about that well before you come.
For facilities: there’s WiFi, a TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s a BBQ you can use.
