The Hay Barn
The Hay Barn is here on our farm in North Willingham. It's a barn we converted, so it's a single open-plan room for living, cooking, and sleeping, but there are two bathrooms. That's the unusual bit. It sleeps two.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can park right outside.
You're welcome to bring two dogs. The garden is yours and there's a barbecue. There's also a shared lake on the farm if you fancy trying a bit of coarse fishing.
We're in the Lincolnshire Wolds, so it's quiet. You get good views over the fields. For a walk or a pint, you need to go about four miles to Market Rasen. The town has shops and a few places to eat. The racecourse is there too.
The coast at Mablethorpe or Skegness is about a 40 minute drive. Lincoln is roughly 45 minutes if you want to see the cathedral. Closer by, Horncastle is known for antique shops, and Louth is a nice market town.
