Cruachan is a lodge near Etteridge, in the Highlands. It's a detached place, set in a quiet holiday park. It feels quite private.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The main room is open plan. The ceiling is high and there's a big window that gives you a view of the Cairngorms. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a breakfast bar. Patio doors open onto a decked area.
You're pretty much in the middle of Scotland here. There's a monument marking the spot just down the lane. It's a good base. You're south of Inverness and north of Perth, so a lot of places are within a couple of hours' drive. The Cairngorms National Park is right on your doorstep for walking. You can get to Aviemore or Newtonmore in about ten minutes. Newtonmore has a couple of pubs and a supermarket.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
