Bruich Cottage
Bruich Cottage is in Newtonmore. It's a bungalow, so no stairs. Everything is on one level. It's detached and we live next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all one open space. It feels quite spacious.
The garden is out the back. You get your own private part of it. It gets the sun in the morning. There's a firepit and a barbecue you can use.
Newtonmore centre is a five minute walk. There's a shop, pubs and restaurants about 250 yards away. The Highland Folk Museum is here too, which is good if you're into that sort of thing. The Wild Cat trails start nearby if you're on a bike. Newtonmore golf course is just over the road.
You're in a good spot for getting about. Aviemore is 15 minutes away for skiing in winter or outdoor shops. Dalwhinnie distillery is about a 15 minute drive. Inverness and Loch Ness are under an hour. Fort William is about the same if you want to go that way.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car on the drive. You can bring one dog.
