Cathwill is in Newtonmore. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours sharing walls with you.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and a single. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes. There's a pub and a restaurant about 150 yards away. The village has shops, a couple of pubs, and two good museums: the Highland Folk Museum and the Clan MacPherson Museum. The Wildcat Trail is a seven mile loop around the village, good for a decent walk without having to drive.
The Cairngorms National Park is right here. For days out, the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig is about a 15 minute drive. Landmark in Carrbridge is maybe 25 minutes. The Strathspey Steam Railway is in Aviemore, which is a 10-15 minute drive.
In terms of facilities, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
