The Bakehouse At Caman House
The Bakehouse at Caman House is a one-bedroom place for two people in Newtonmore. It used to be a bakehouse, hence the name. It's detached, so it's quiet.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. There's an open plan living room with a wood burner. The bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed if you need it. The bathroom is a good size. Everything is included, bedding, towels, that sort of thing.
You can bring one dog. There's a patio and garden area. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. There's also a secure bike storage unit you can book for your stay, but you need to ask me about that first.
Newtonmore is a village right in the Cairngorms National Park. There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away. The local pub does food. There are other restaurants in the village too.
If you like walking or cycling, you can just step outside and start. The River Spey is nearby for fishing. In winter, you're about half an hour from the ski slopes at Cairngorm Mountain. If you want to go further, you can get to places like Aviemore or even out to the west coast for a day trip. Inverness is about 45 minutes by car.
