Caman House Apartment 2
This is Caman House Apartment 2. It's on the first floor of a Victorian building in Newtonmore village centre. It looks out over the back garden toward the fields.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's finished well and comfortable. The rooms get a good amount of light.
You're right in Newtonmore, so there's a shop and a couple of pubs within a few minutes' walk. For hiking or biking, you step out the door and you're in the Cairngorms National Park. There's a secure bike store in the garden, but you need to book it with us first to make sure it's free.
The owner used to play shinty, so there's some shinty memorabilia on the wall and a few paintings by local artists. It's part of the place.
Within about 30 minutes you can drive to Aviemore for more shops. Loch Morlich and Glenmore Forest Park are good for water and walks. Kingussie is just down the road.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust for Scotland site is useful for properties and gardens nearby.
