Baltinna East

Baltinna East is a lodge in Newtonmore. It's one of two that are joined together. You can book them separately or together. It's for two people.

The main room is open plan, with high ceilings. It's very light. There's a wood burner for heat and atmosphere. The kitchen is modern.

Upstairs is the bedroom with a kingsize bed. It looks down into the living area. There are large velux windows with electric blinds. The beams have some little lights on them. There's also a desk area, which people use if they're working while they're here.

There's a separate utility room with a drying pulley. That's useful if you've been hiking or cycling and your gear is wet. The porch is large too, so you have space to leave boots and coats.

Outside, there's a private sitting area and a shared enclosed garden.

Newtonmore is in the Cairngorms National Park. It's between two mountain ranges. There are a couple of pubs serving good food within a few minutes' walk. Shops are about a quarter of a mile away.

You're well placed for walking, mountain biking, or skiing in winter. The River Spey is nearby for fishing. There are several golf courses. Aviemore is a short drive away for more shops and activities. Inverness is about 40 minutes by car.

Included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking, and electricity. There is an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
