Baltinna East
Baltinna East is one of a pair of lodges in Newtonmore. It's the one on the right if you're facing them. They're joined in the middle but you can't hear the other one through the wall. You get your own bit of garden.
It sleeps two. There's one bedroom upstairs. The bedroom looks down over the living space because it's sort of open plan, so if you're particular about privacy that's something to know. The velux windows in the bedroom are big. They have electric blinds.
The wood burner works well. There's a drying room with a pulley rack, which people seem to like after a wet walk. The wet room is on the ground floor. You can charge an electric car on site.
Newtonmore is a village. You can walk to the pubs from here, and a shop. The village is good for getting out into the hills. You're in the Cairngorms National Park. The Walkhighlands site is useful for routes.
Aviemore is about a fifteen minute drive. Kingussie is even closer. Inverness is under an hour if you need a bigger town.
It's a 4 Star place. Everything is included - bedding, towels, electricity. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
