Allt Bronach
Allt Bronach is in the hills near Balgowan. It's about as west as you can get in the Cairngorms National Park. The views are of the valley and the farm. In winter you'll see snow on the hills.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. You can have them as two doubles or one double and two singles. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room. The heating is underfloor throughout, which works well. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is enclosed. It's quiet. The cottage is named after the burn that runs past it, Allt Bronach. That means 'sad melancholy burn' in Gaelic.
You can walk straight from the back door. Laggan Wolftrax, the mountain bike centre, is very close by. Aviemore is about 40 minutes east, Fort William is about 40 minutes west. So you're right between them.
Inside there's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a separate dining room, and a sitting room. All bedding and towels are included. There's Wi-Fi and parking.
